How can I scale a prop with character studio 4?

0

Use the following steps to scale a prop using a biped file with character studio. • Create a biped. • Create your prop (example: a teapot). • Use the Select and Link button on the toolbar to link the teapot to the biped. • Go to the Motion panel, and with the Biped selected, click Footstep mode, and save a Bip file. This dialog has an option at the bottom left corner called ‘Save MAX Objects’. Make sure this option is selected. • Create a new biped (either in the same scene or in a different one). Make this biped a different size than the one you created in Step 1. • Using Motion panel > Footstep mode > Open. Note: This dialog has an option ‘Load MAX Objects.’ Make sure this option is selected, along with the ‘Retarget’ option. If not, the teapot will not scale. • Open the biped file you just saved. The prop should now be scaled appropriately based on the the biped height.
