How can I save map data on the hard disk and make use of them?

Top50 Versions 3 and 4 do not support hard disk installation of map data. In order to use map data from the hard disk, we recommend adopting the following approach: First, create a folder on the hard drive, e.g. “D:\Data\Top50”, then copy the entire content of the CD into it. If you have not yet installed the program, start Setup from the CD and follow the instructions given. Afterwards, remove the CD from the drive and start the program. The Geogrid logo appears and a message is displayed alerting you to the fact that the map drive was not found. Now open the item “Directories” in the “Settings” menu and add the new path (e.g. D:\Data\Top50). In the case of Geogrid products based on Geogrid Viewer 6, map data can be copied onto the hard disk by means of the user-defined installation option. However, if a Geogrid product comprises multiple DVDs, Explorer has to be used to copy the map data onto the hard disk.
