How can I run the Applescript to change the Timbuktu Pro port without OS X launching the classic environment?
In order to run the Applescript, to change the Timbuktu Pro port used, properly, you must first launch Timbuktu Pro. This can be done by going to the Timbuktu connection menu icon and choosing “Open Timbuktu Pro”. Once this is done, you can run the Applescript successfully. Why do I get an error message stating that my Timbuktu Pro is corrupt when I’m attempting to upgrade my version? If you are upgrading from the Preview version to the final release version of Timbuktu Pro, you must first completely uninstall the preview release first. This can be done by taking the following steps: • Log on to your Macintosh as an administrator. • Drag the Timbuktu Pro application to the trash. • Optionally, open the Mac OS X volume, open the Library folder, open the StartupItems folder, and drag the TimbuktuStartup folder to the trash. • Restart your computer.
