Due to Windows NT’s lack (this also applies to Windows 2000 and Windows XP) of a native DOS mode, you may face many difficulties when trying to run a DOS game under any of these operating systems. Unfortunately the DOS emulation built into them does not fully replace “real” DOS and this results in games either not running at all or at least running with frequent crashes. There is no work-around for this problem at this time. Please refer to our troubleshooting guide at the end of this page for further information.
