How can I route certain individual tones (keys) of my patch (rhythm set) to MFX?
Following the steps in the previous answer, set the output assignment parameter to PAT (if in performance mode) or TONE (if in patch mode). Then hit EDIT and go to the “Output” tab. Select a tone 1-4 (for a patch) or hit a key (for a rhythm set) and then adjust the “Tone Out Assign” parameter to choose whether to send the tone to MFX or not (output “A”). You can also adjust reverb and chorus sends here too – note that there are separate send groups for sounds sent to “MFX” and out “A”.
