Record Division personnel release vehicles from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). Proof of ownership is required to release a vehicle from impound. Proof of ownership can be the title, registration or the tag receipt. A current tag and insurance are required prior to the release of the vehicle. Vehicles impounded as evidence in connection with an ongoing investigation require the authorization of the investigator assigned to the case prior to release.
