How can i restore my computer to its factory settings with out the CD?
I have an Acer laptop and I restored it to its factory default by pressing alt and F10. I kept alt pressed and kept pushing F10 until it started the process. If you do that, remember to answer yes when they ask you if you need help with the local internet. Then at least put your area code. Otherwise the internet will not function. I had to do the process about 5 times because I was answering no to the internet help. I got the information from the help and support site. So you have to go to your computer help and support site and see what they say because not all computers are the same. I hope this helps.
