How can I remove sap from my car without hurting the paint?
Go to Advance Auto Parts and in their car cleaner isle, look for a product called “Bug and Tar Remover” Goo gone works very well, but it can take off the top coat of your paint. The bug and tar remover is the safest way. To really do it right, you will need to use it, wash the car and then put some type of cleaner wax on it. Personally I prefer Meguiar’s cleaner wax.
