How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

you could try an ‘anti-shedding blade’–what they look like is a flat piece of metal formed to a circle with a handle–the metal has notches on both sides-it does not look like it would do much but i swear by it–and it is very gentle–only removes the loose dead hair not the healthy hair like some rakes and things do–you can not go wrong with this–i have a cat with extremely sensitive skin –plus she is long haired so she needs to be brushed any other brush when rubbed against her skin makes her bleed but with the anti-shedding blade i have not had any problems good luck hope this helps
