How can I remove an ink mark from a vinyl/plastic doll?

Try treating the mark with a little bit of Clearasil or other benzoyl peroxide lotion. Then leave the doll in the sun for about an hour while the Clearasil works. After an hour, wipe off the lotion. If the mark is still there, wait a week or so to see if the mark fades (sometimes it takes a few days), and then repeat the whole process if necessary. Benzoyl peroxide is usually better than acetone or nail polish remover for taking stains off a doll. However, if you want to try acetone or NPR, don’t get them on the doll’s face or any other painted part of the vinyl. They will remove the doll’s face paint. Test them on a hidden area of the vinyl first, because they will melt some forms of vinyl.
