How can I register for Journalism classes that require permission if Im not a declared major?

During Phase I, as long as you have completed all prerequisites, you may register for any journalism classes except for those requiring overrides. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for an override-restricted class, please contact the Journalism Department manager at least one month before you will be registering. Declared major status is required for all 400-level Journalism classes. If you believe you satisfy all requirements for a course, but are unable to register for it, please let the department manager know via email as soon as possible.
