How can i reduce my ping in wc3?
A ping of 80-120 milliseconds is not something you will notice playing any game. 80-120 is NOT a high ping. It’s pretty decent. Connecting to servers that are closer geographically may improve your ping to a lower value. If you feel as though you are experiencing lag, it is more likely a driver or the processes currently using the RAM on your system. Disable any services you don’t need or use. Take things out of the startup folder. Check how much RAM is being used before you start a game, Kill processes you don’t need. Did you add matched pairs of RAM in the magic multiples? RAM should only be added in matched Pairs. RAM should only be added in perfect multiples of 256. So, 1G 2X512M, 2G 2x1024M, 4G 2x2048M. Though if you have a 32 bit OS it won’t use 4G so it’s academic. It may be able to see and identify 4G but it will not be able to address any amount over 3.5G. IF you want 4G or more, install 64 bit OS. Holds true for Macs, Windows, Linux and all other OSs.
