How can I quickly drag stories to the top or bottom of a panel, especially if the panel contains many stories?

While you are dragging a story, a panel will auto-scroll when you get near the top or the bottom of a panel. However, when you are dragging within a panel containing many stories, it can be slow to wait for the entire panel to scroll by.
