How can I purchase properties that have gone to auction but not sold? Are they over the counter or sealed bid?
We currently do not have a formal process for selling unsold auction properties. All unsold properties become the property of Utah County and are administered by the Public Works department. If you have inquiries about a specific unsold property, and have a qualifying interest in said property, Public Works would entertain an offer to purchase said property for reasonable value, all taxes, and other costs owing on the property. This offer would then be forwarded to the County Commission for approval.
