How can I purchase coverage within 15 days of my initial Trip payment, if I don’t know my final Trip Cost?
First, buy a Global Alert Plan within 15 days of your initial trip deposit/payment to fully cover the trip arrangements you have already purchased. Later, when your trip cost increases (for example, if you later book your airfare or add a trip extension), you should (within 15 days) increase the Trip Cost you are insuring to include these additional costs/arrangements. If you were originally eligible (i.e. purchased a Global Alert Plan within 15 days of your initial deposit/payment for your trip), you must purchase the additional coverage within 15 days of your payment for the new travel arrangements/costs to continue your eligibility.
