Gigateway would like to encourage as many different organisations to publish their geospatial metadata on the Data Locator as possible. To this end, we have provided training on the fundamentals of metadata creation and manadgement, and have developed MetaGenie – our freely available software to assist people in creating metadata to internationally recognised standards.
