Send your music to a music publisher that markets the type of music you compose. You will need to start by getting performances and recordings of your music and then send a recording and score to one of the publishers. Do not send the same piece to several publishers at the same time – if two (or more) want the same piece then you have to tell one that you’ve contracted the piece with someone else – closes a door you might wish you had open in the future. Then wait. OR Self publish. Again it is a good idea to seek performances and recordings. Then you will need a good music writing program such as Finale or Sibelius to typeset your score and parts in order to make them available for purchase. Then go on the internet or distribute to music dealers. If your pieces are getting professional performances then you might want to apply for membership in a performance rights group such as ASCAP or BMI.
