How can I produce a set of Emergency SAV floppy disks?
After a clean boot it is best to scan from a set of write-protected Emergency SAV disks. You can create a set in one of three ways • For Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP run DISKMAKE.EXE in the DISKIMGS directory on the Sophos CD. • Follow the instructions in DISKIMGS.TXT which is located in the DISKIMGS directory on the CD. • Make a floppy disk version of the Emergency SAV Distribution from http://www.sophos.com/downloads/products/emergdos.html. Write-protect the floppy disks. Since these are disk images, disks prepared on any of these platforms can be used on any of the others: Windows, DOS, NetWare and OS/2.
