How can I print profiling targets from Photoshop CS5?

0

Photoshop CS5 has eliminated the “No Color Management” selection–necessary to print profiling targets–from the print dialog. There are two ways around this problem: • Print the profiling targets from the Photoshop printing plugin (File>Export>iPFxx00 Print Plug-in…) using the appropriate media type selection and “none” for the output profile. • Print the profiling targets from the driver using the ‘Null Transform trick’ invented and popularized by Eric Chan of Adobe. The null transform trick is to assign Adobe RGB to the target, then in CS5’s Print dialog, select Photoshop Manages Color and select Adobe RGB as the output color space. It is crucial to select Relative Colorimetric Intent with Black Point Compensation unchecked. Of course, color management in the driver must be set to off and the appropriate media selected.
