How can I prevent Slugs Getting into my house, when I can find where they are getting in from !!??
slugs like moisture, so eliminate areas where they can hide to keep moist, house hold salt or coarse road salt will deter them from entering the area, but this may harm grass and plants, another helpful tool i use is fine saw dust sprinkle this around the area and keep it dry,( salt will burn the slugs as they are moist and stick to their bodies and will kill them, they will avoid sawdust because it also sticks but will not kill them) slug bait at your garden store works well but keep it dry and in a container so your cat can’t access it but the slugs can,, another is a1/4 can off beer this will attract them and they pretty much drown..
