How can i prevent my rabbits having tooth problems?

0

I have had problems with one of my rabbits back teeth. She doesn’t like to eat a lot of hay and this caused her teeth to not be worn down enough. She has them burred regularly now. To prevent teeth growing too long, make sure there is always plenty of clean, fresh hay available. In the wild rabbits spend most of their days grazing grass and hay and this wears down their teeth naturally. Also, the apple wood idea is a good one, it prevents the incisors getting too long or crooked. Don’t worry it sounds like you will be a responsible owner- just follow your common sense and don’t feed to much soft veg. Hay is the answer!
