How can I prevent my DukeCard from getting damaged?
In order to protect you DukeCard from damage you should use the same care you would with a credit card. In the hospital avoid going near the MRI with your badge on. It would be wise to keep your DukeCard away from any kind of strong magnet. Don’t puncture, bend or fold your card. Don’t accidentally put it in the washing machine. Also, you should not use your DukeCard as an ice scraper on those rare occasions when we have bad weather.
