How can I prevent household kitchen fires?
Household kitchen fires are preventable, certainly. Understanding that, when you’re getting ready to cook a stir-fry, or you’re using oil, don’t turn the flame on underneath the pan with the oil in it as you’re still chopping the food that you’re going to put in that pan. Oftentimes, this oil is not so much that it doesn’t take a long time for it to get heated, and heated to that degree where its going to ignite. So that’s one way to prevent household kitchen fires. The other thing is, when you’re using a frying pan, you should always have a lid that fits over the top of that particular pan that you’re using. As well as, next to the stove, or in the cabinet close by, have a jar of baking soda. Use a glass jar, and poke holes in it so that you can use it sort of like a shaker, because baking soda is what will help you extinguish that household kitchen fire without getting burnt.
