If Eudora’s Open a mailbox option in the Getting Attention category is enabled, then every mailbox (except Trash) is opened automatically when it receives a new message. Configuring Eudora not to open the Spamnix mailbox when new spam arrives but to continue opening all other mailboxes when they receive new mail is a two-step process.
