How can I play The Sims 2 without the cd?
You might be able to copy/paste everything onto a flash drive or something. I’ve done that with quite a few games, but I’ve never tried it with The Sims 2. Or, optionally, if you have a desktop computer (or a separate laptop) with The Sims 2 on it, you could open up a network and access your desktop computer (or laptop) through the laptop you want the game installed on. It’s essentially the same thing as copy/pasting it, though. (: Just a little more of a shortcut if it’s convenient to you. Once you copy it over, you’ll probably need a patch. Check out my source for some possible patches. (: If you’re not familiar with them, all their purpose is just to make sure you don’t have to use the CD ever again to play. But you must have the game on your computer first. If all else fails, you could download The Sims 2 off bittorrent or something. ;P Since you do own the CD!
