How can I patch my Windows XP SP2 TCPIP.SYS to allow more half open connections?

You should download the last xp-AntiSpy that has a feature to patch the library to allow more connections. Before SP2 there was no limit for such connections, but it might be better instead of removing the limit to use a big number like 4096. Beware that regular updates can and will revert this change so it’s wise to check every once in a while that the limit wasn’t reverted back. It could be that after an update you will need a new version of xp-AntiSpy. Please check their site when you have problems patching TCPIP.SYS.
