How can I participate in the Urban Growth Strategy Study?
The public consultation process began with a series of interviews with a number of community representatives. The purpose of these interviews was to determine how to ensure the public has opportunities to be involved throughout the Study. Some of the comments received to date suggest that the community may be suffering from “Public Consultation Burnout”. The City has many studies currently under way and this is to be expected. As a result, no public open houses will take place until the fall. Interested individuals, groups and organizations are encouraged to submit their views on how Kingston should address its growth and development needs over the next 25 years.
