How can I organize my Windows98, Windows 2000, or Windows XP Start / Programs menu alphabetically?

When you install programs they appear in your Start / Programs menu in the order they were added. To organize them alphabetically: Click Start / Programs and move the pointer over an item on the list, RIGHT Click and select “sort By Name”. Windows 98 First Edition is more complicated and not recommended as it may corrupt your operating system.
