Good question. LBCC has a course called “Nursing Assistant” (NA 210A – 6 units) which qualifies students for testing to be certified as a nursing assistant by the State of California. This course has a prerequisite of “Orientation for Nursing Assistant Program (NA 810A – 1.5 units). These courses also are required prior to starting the Vocational Nursing program at LBCC if you wanted to continue course work in the nursing field. Thanks for using online counseling.
