How can I obtain the Diploma of Advanced Studies (only for courses regulated in accordance with RD 778/1998)?
The Diploma of Advanced Studies is a qualification which is linked only to the doctoral courses regulated in accordance with RD 778/1998; therefore, it can only be obtained by students whose academic records are still subject to this regulatory framework. Students who have obtained minimum research capacity in accordance with regulatory frameworks prior to RD 778/1998 and have subsequently transferred their academic records, do not have a right to the issuing of the Diploma of Advanced Studies. Once the credits from the teaching stage and those from the research stage have been approved, you will have to pay the fees for the minimum research capacity exam and be called by the unit responsible for the doctoral programme to be assessed by a panel on the knowledge you have acquired. Once this assessment has been passed, you may ask the Unit responsible for doctorate administration to issue the corresponding diploma. To collect it, you should approach the unit responsible for the programme
