How can I obtain the correct note values, when rhythmically playing in a piano score?
• Use the score wizard to create a piano score. • Position the cursor in the upper staff. • Select menu extras | rhythmic playing in… and capture your melody. • When finished, proceed to the next step. • In the following dialog select number 3 to split the notes into two voices. • Indicate your preference where you want the split to occur on the vertical keyboard display. A thin red line will appear. • If necessary select number 4 and indicate at 3 the lowest preferred note value.
