How can I obtain local history and/or genealogical information if I live outside Jefferson County?
The Library charges a $10.00 fee for providing service for out of county requests. This fee includes the librarian’s search time and up to 10 (ten) photocopies of relevant materials. Library staff will devote approximately thirty minutes to researching your request. If the search does not locate the requested information, the fee cannot be refunded. If additional photocopies are required, you will be billed 10 cents per page for paper sources and 20 cents per page for microfilm sources. The Library adheres to all applicable copyright laws. If you want our staff to assist you with your request, please send your information request and a non-refundable check for $10.00 made out to Louisville Free Public Library to the address below.
