How can I obtain information concerning attorneys, interpreters or translators in a foreign country?
U.S. embassies and consulates maintain lists of English-speaking foreign attorneys and have information about interpreters and translators and can refer you to other sources. Copies of lists of attorneys are also available from the U.S. Department of State’s Office of American Citizens Services and Crisis Management or on the Internet at www.travel.state.gov.
