How can I obtain a copy of a police report or a traffic accident report?
Call the Records Section of the Police Department at 510-620-6675 to confirm the report is available. Reports are usually ready for pickup in about 7 to 10 days and cost ten cents per page. Certain offense reports may not be released if the case is under investigation or there will be a danger to any individual listed on the report. No juvenile information will be given out.
