How can I obtain a copy of a newspaper?

Go to the Globe or NYT website and contact them. Different papers keep old copies for different lengths of time. Even if they no longer have a hard copy, you may be able to see the electronic version, do a screen capture (on a Mac, anyway), and copy it to a CD or DVD. Then go to a reprographics place to have a copy made and printed out of the first page, suitable for framing. If you want to protect such a print-out other than by framing it, you could get it laminated. Ask for the highest (thickest) mil for the best quality. Ask the paper about reproducing the front page in this fashion, since newspaper content is copyrighted. Tell them what you’re thinking of doing. Also, find out from a repro place if they will print it out (due to copyright concerns). Different places do things differently.
