The Program played by the Pads and from incoming MIDI is the one belonging to the Track selected in the main screen. If you are working from an external MIDI keyboard or pads, this is a good reason to assign Program Changes to any Programs you may want to use live, then you can select them remotely. (In Program Mode, select the Program name, then Window.
