How can I map the left thigh area myself since the lump is said to be hard to feel sitting up?
Tesa suggests: Lay down on your right side and run your left hand down and your thigh. You shoud be able to feel it like that if you press firmly enough. Not too deep but stronger than a gentle massage (see explanation in next Q&A) or get a spouse/partner, family member or friend to help you. Once you have established that they thigh lumps are breaking up, or indeed any lumps anywhere on your body, you can be sure you are cycling and don’t need to be checking them out all the time but keep a close eye on products you use to be assured that you do not block your medication. Get mapped, or map yourself about once a month to start but you can peg that back as time passes.
