How can I make TrainingPeaks WKO+ work on a Mac?
Unfortunately, at this time we do NOT have a version of WKO+ that is natively compatible with MAC OS. However, it is possible to use WKO+ on a Mac, even though there is no MAC specific version. In order to run WKO+ on a Mac, you need to utilize a third party program that allows Windows to run on a Mac. There are a lot of WKO+ users running this setup successfully. You can use it with the Apple DUAL Boot system, called Boot Camp available at http://www.apple.com/bootcamp, which will let you run Windows on your Mac. You will need an Intel-based Mac to use these programs. We have also seen very positive results with running WKO+ through the latest version of Parallels. This program lets Intel Macs run Windows, and thus WKO+, side by side with other native Mac applications. http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/ Similarly, we have seen really good results from using a program called VMfusion, which behaves very similarly to Parallels.
