How can I make the watch in HD button availible on my youtube video?
YouTube adds the HD button automatically after processing your video. Here’s the key, though: you have to upload an HD video file in the first place. Basically, it’s video with higher resolution than standard definition. To start with, you’re going to need a camcorder that captures in HD, and then you’ll need editing software capable of outputting high-def files–which you’ll then upload to YouTube. You can get an easy-to-use, pocket-sized HD camcorder from Flip, Kodak or Creative for under $200. Both Windows Movie Maker and iMovie–the editing software that comes bundled on PCs and Macs–now output files in HD. I’d recommend choosing the option for 720p (what YouTube uses); that means a resolution of 1280×720, with a frame rate probably of 29.97 and bandwidth rate of 6 mbps.
