How can I make the Player use less memory or processor capacity?
You should not notice these problems if you are using Windows Media Player 9 Series. If you’re not using Windows Media Player 9 Series or want even better performance, you can reduce processor usage by not displaying visualizations (for audio only feeds) and by turning off the graphic equalizer and SRS Wow Effects (for full video/audio feeds). If your computer is running Windows 2000, you can temporarily free additional memory by minimizing a program after it starts.
