How can I make the Ingress Rate control to work with NIC cards?

0

The Ingress bandwidth control works by using the flow control mechanism. Almost all the switches and Ethernet device have flow control enabled. However, for direct connection to the PC, the PC&acutes LAN card must enable the flow control. To force the LAN card&acutes flow control on, please set the SNMP switch&acutes port to &quot10Mbps, Half Duplex&quot mode. Then the Ingress control will work even if the NIC doesn&acutet turn on the flow control. Please remember the SNMP switch&acutes rate is in 100K increment.
