Technically songs downloaded directly from iTunes cannot be transferred to anything other than an iPod. However, if you download the songs, burn a CD(the DRM will have been removed during the burning process), then rip the songs from the CD back to the computer in MP3 format. The songs can now be transferred to any MP3 device you wish. Remember though, there may be some quality loss in the process because you are making a copy of a copy.
