How can I make my Profile private?
There are a few things you can try: Go to your Profile Page (now called Pulse). Click on “Settings” which is a tab above your Connections. Click on “Manage Privacy Settings” under the “Privacy” heading. Tick the bottom box “Hide my Profile”. Click on “Save” at the bottom. You may also wish to stop people from searching for you by unticking the top box “Allow people to find my profile by searching for my name and info”. You can also choose which Updates you want to share from your Pulse page. To do this, click on the “Settings” tab. Then click on “Manage Updates” under “Updates”. If you want to share some of them, TICK the box “Share my Updates”. Choose the ones you want to share and then click on “Save” at the bottom of the page. If you don’t want to share any of them UNTICK the box “Share my Updates”.
