How can I make my own detergent at home?
You will need:
1 Cup Borax
1 Cup Washing Soda
1 Bar Fels Naptha
(All of the above are available at most grocery stores in the laundry detergent aisle.)
A Cheese Grater
Using the cheese grater, grate the bar of soap. Combine the grated soap with the borax and washing soda. You just made laundry detergent! Use 1/4 cup of the mixture for a regular load of laundry.
