Create a text file in your directory called .mailcap with the following: ################ CUT HERE TOP ########################################### text/html; w3m -dump -T text/html; copiousoutput ############# CUT HERE BOTTOM ####################################### This will run an html to text converter called w3m every time you view an html document in mutt and display the output within mutt.
