Well, it sounds like you have a plan for step 1 out of 10. Concentrated citric acid might help you extract the ergot alkaloids from infected rye grain, but you still have to de-fat it, then use the alkaloids to synthesize LSD25. Thats not all though, after you synthesize LSD, you have to isolate it from iso-LSD and other inactive isomers. From there you can convert some of the isomers into LSD for a higher yield. This is not your average do-it-yourself molecule. It is HIGHLY unstable. UV light, moderate temperature, chlorine, and many, many, other factors can easily destroy LSD. If you haven’t read an entire chemistry AND organic chemistry text, you do not have the proper tools to make LSD. PS. DO NOT consume any ergot extracts!! You could have all your limbs go gangrene and fall off. Seriously. It’s a condition called St. Anthony’s fire. Ergot alkaloids cause massive constriction in your blood vessels. You really shouldn’t even handle ergot cervipaps without gloves and a respirator.
