How can I make Eco friendly green ink for rubber stamping on recycled paper?
I don’t know how to make ink either. I found your post while searching for a similar subject. I ran across some sites that might help. One gave this recipe for rubber stamp ink. Rubber Stamp Ink (waterproof) Ingredients: powdered clothes dye 1/4 teaspoon alcohol 5 tablespoon glycerine Method: Mix dye with alcohol until it resembles thin cream. Add glycerine and stir until thoroughly mixed. Pour ink over used up stamp pad. To make a stamp pad, cut foam rubber to fit the bottom of a small plastic box, then pour the ink over the stamp pad. Keep the box tightly covered when not in use. http://www.canteach.ca/elementary/recipe⦠I don’t know how eco-friendly most dyes are, but this next site shows using plants to make dyes. Maybe combining the plant dyes with the other ingredients above would work. It seems it would have to be pretty concentrated. Anyway, good luck.
