As soon as you can before delivery, please contact Carolina Pediatrics to let us know you want to have us care for your new baby. We will offer a pre-natal interview with one of the physicians of your choice that is accepting new babies. Additionally, we can provide you the newborn packet and answer all your questions when you are pre-accepted. At time of delivery, just let the attending nurse know that you have selected Carolina Pediatrics, and they will contact us. Within the same day, under normal circumstances, our pediatrician on-call will make her rounds with you and your new baby. After your discharge, you will be asked to contact our office for an immediate visit. We will need pages 2, 3, and 4 from the newborn packet before scheduling the appointment. We can accept these pages at our office, via fax at (864) 454-2679, or by email at cpg@ghs.org. Once we receive these pages, we will call you to confirm your first appointment. PLEASE DO NOT FAX THE ENTIRE PACKET ONLY FAX pages 2
