How can I make an international phone call from my cell phone?
I think I may have a solution. Are you on a CDMA network or GSM? With a CDMA it is not possible to call Australia because there is not network like that. Only in North America. Now if it is a GSM find out if your phone is a tri-band or Quad band. Because the frequency they use may not be on your cell phone. Your phone might say on the back of it behind the battery which frequency it uses or in your settings. I know 99% or the motorola that are still working 😉 are quad band.
