Use the “Novell LDAP Address Book”. LDAP is an acronym that stands for “Lightweight Directory Access Protocol”. Procedure for the desktop client (see below for the web access client): If you don’t already have an LDAP directory called “Trent Students” (or something similar) you will have to set this up manually the first time. To do so follow these steps: Navigate to the Novell LDAP Address Book in Groupwise: • Click “Directories” • Click “Add” • Enter “Trent Students” for the Account name and click “Next” • Enter “netmail.trentu.ca” for the server address and click “Finish” • Select “Trent Students” and click “Set as default” • Click “Close” You are now ready to search the “Trent Students” LDAP address directory.
